U13 team sets sights on being Hardest Working Team
Our U13 team has come out of the gate strong this year. After our first four games, we’ve come away with two wins and two losses, however both losses were hard fought battles to the final buzzer. We were just shy of mounting a 3rd period comeback against Oak Ridges, and lost a heartbreaker in the final seconds against Innisfil. Our goal is to compete hard each and every game. So far, based on contributions from each and every player on the team, we’ve had a chance to win each game.
We’ll be rounding off our October against TNT, and then set our sights on a busy November. Our first tournament of the year is coming up, The Innisfil Winterhawks Fall Classic. It’s always fun to see how our teams stacks up against some competitors outside our league. I have a feeling we’ll have some stiff competition, but there’s no doubt this team will be up for the challenge!
