Covid-19 Protocols for the BAA
Submitted By Webmaster on Tue 11 24, 20
Hello Beeton Stinger Families,
As you are all aware, we are in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic and trying to implement a modified hockey season. We, the BAA have been working hard behind the scenes, trying to prepare our players for a return to hockey. It has definitely been a challenge and a lot of work from our executive to get this modified season up and going. We thank you for your patience as we try to make this as safe for everyone as possible.

We have been given the go ahead to schedule and play 4 on 4 games with Lefroy and Thornton. Please watch the schedule daily as our ice scheduler is busy updating games and practices and can change quickly. We are very pleased with the success of our first few weeks of being back on the ice for practices. Safety guidelines will always be evolving during this pandemic, we will do our best to keep coaches, parents and players informed of the most recent changes.

COVID-19 - Exposure or positive testing

-If you (parent/Guardian) or your child has been tested for COVID-19, we ask that you/they Quarantine
at home until they get their test results.
-If you/they test positive you MUST quarantine for 14 days minimum and provide a 2 nd test of a negative
result before returning to hockey as a player or spectator.
We will need a copy of the negative test result for our records. Please advise your coach immediately so
that proper protocols can be followed.

-If a family member of your player from the same household has been exposed to someone with COVID-
19, we ask that you also quarantine for 14 days after being notified. Please advise your coach
immediately so that proper protocols can be followed and a return date can be determined.

Please think of the safety of our hockey family and community. It is of the utmost importance for us
to do our best to keep our community, our seniors, our players and families and our executive and
coaches as safe and healthy as possible.
