Update on Beeton Arena & Registraion
August 4th - Update
The BAA has been working hard with the town to secure ice for this season. We will play exclusively out of the Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre with the majority of our ice time on Saturday and Sunday mornings, Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. As registration continues over the summer, we will have a better sense of exactly when teams will practice and play as we approach September. We hope this gives you some confidence in choosing Beeton for minor hockey this season.
July 27th - Beeton Arena Update:
Town council voted on Monday to start the process of tendering the design and repair work for the arena trusses. This is an important step towards getting the arena back open and having 100% ice availability in New Tec. For the 2023-24 season, we are continuing to work with the town to secure ice at the NTRC and TCFC for this coming season. Registration has been going well and spots are filling up fast. Register now to secure your spot!
The Beeton Memorial Arena may be closing but Beeton Stinger hockey will continue, local league hockey is still alive. In the interim, we will operate loud and proud in other New Tecumseth facilities while consultations occur around a recreational facility in Beeton.
Registration will be opening this weekend online!
